The historic fourth season of the NWSL came to an end on Oct. 9 at BBVA Compass Stadium, as the Western New York Flash claimed the title following a dramatic 124th minute game-tying goal and penalty shootout over the Washington Spirit, for its first championship in NWSL history.

After having its best regular season in franchise history, the Washington Spirit hopes to finish on a high note as NWSL Champions when it faces against the Western New York Flash on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET in Houston.

A young and hungry group will compete for the 2016 NWSL title this Sunday in Houston when it takes on the Washington Spirit at 5 p.m. ET on FS1.
